Your role in a nutshell…

The Regional Sales Manager plays a key role in increasing income and revenue. This role will take responsibility for the South East of England territory and will be responsible for the end-to-end sales process management, offering a consultative solutions-based sales methodology.

Mandata provides integrated transport management software solutions to road transport businesses operating throughout the UK and Ireland.

Haulage operators use our suite of products to manage their operations from orders to invoice. Our team is not only passionate about our solutions, but they are also incredibly knowledgeable and supportive.

The responsibilities will be…

  • Own a territory and take responsibility for all new customer acquisition within it.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound prospects in line with our sales opportunity criteria.
  • Identify and build a pipeline with the coverage required to hit your monthly target.
  • Managing all areas of the sales cycle from qualification, through to close.
  • Use CRM to track and report on sales activity metrics.
  • Accurately forecast new business deals against sales targets.
  • Work in partnership with the Lead Development team on developing business within your territory and creating a great first impression of Mandata.
  • Actively look for opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to help inform marketing and product strategy.
  • Collaborate with technical departments to help design and deliver effective solutions to prospects.
  • Ownership of your development, including as a sales professional and understanding of our industry.

  • Exceptional track record of overachieving targets, both financially and KPIs – with the drive to ‘close’ a deal.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and credibly with senior ‘target’ individuals.
  • Demonstratable track record of building, maintain and manage a strong pipeline.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
