About the role:

This is a hands-on senior role that will suit a strategically minded, results-focussed digital marketer with a practical ‘get it done’ approach. The role also has a strong reporting focus so ideally you will love diving into and reporting on the analytics behind the digital marketing engine. You will fulfil a pivotal role in the growing Mandata marketing team, helping us to achieve our ambitious growth targets in the next few years.

Key responsibilities include the delivery and managing of marketing programs ranging from online demand generation, SaaS growth programs, funnel optimisation, as well as reporting and tracking of our KPI’s to drive increased market adoption and achieve our revenue goals.  The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in designing, building, and implementing digital marketing strategy and tactics in the B2B tech space.

As a Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

Digital marketing planning & execution

  • Creating campaigns and tracking of paid channels (SEM, social, remarketing, display, affiliates) to drive marketing performance in line with budget.
  • SEO Optimisation including ongoing keyword research.
  • Comprehensive use of Pardot including the building of prospect journeys, EDM campaigns, revenue performance tracking, and the management of all audience lists.
  • Collaborate with product and corporate marketing to build ad copy, ensuring assets meet best practice, and manage campaign set-up.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget.

Website & campaign pages

  • Content maintenance on corporate website.
  • Building of campaign landing pages for ABX and all Mandata UK Products.

Insights and Reporting

  • Manages key marketing metrics which determine investment, the status of marketing initiatives, program ROI, consumer acquisition and consumer retention.
  • Weekly updates of Marketing Performance Dashboard as well as monthly and quarterly performance reports on performance of all digital channels.
  • Analyse existing data and historical trends to provide insights into lead management processes, lead scoring, campaign tracking, budget to pipeline and revenue (attribution) and database health.
  • Build and maintain a marketing technology stack that meets the needs of the business, is effective in engaging customers, and provides scale to our customer communications.

Qualifications and training:

  • Advanced MS Office skills (essential).
  • Salesforce and Pardot proficient (essential).
  • Google Ads certified (desirable).

Experience:

  • Ideally 8+ years of digital marketing experience in a business-to-business (B2B) SaaS environment.
  • Digital and marketing operations background.
  • Market and industry intelligence: familiarity with IT buyers, both technical and business-oriented decision makers (spanning small business to large enterprise).
  • Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts, data analytics and market needs and translate into effective, value-based, customer-centric messages for both business and technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of lead and campaign systems.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation (Pardot) best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong writing skills and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic, sense of urgency and desire to succeed (desirable).
  • Experience in haulier software industry (desirable).
  • Copy writing experience (desirable).
