Mandata has appointed two senior managers as it continues to expand its workforce to meet strong demand for its technology.
The latest recruits are part of a year-long program to resource the business with key personnel, who will help drive ongoing advances in technology and continuous improvements in the business.
James Stafford joins as regional sales manager for the North East and West of England. Marie McDermott comes in as customer relationship manager for the South West.
Providing dedicated support to haulage and logistics companies, James will be responsible for new business development across the North of England. He will work with haulage operators investing in transport management systems to deliver improvements and operational savings.
He brings over eight years’ sales experience to a role that will also see him working closely with Mandata’s national account management and professional services teams on advanced digital software solutions for the haulage sector, which include a range of new integrated apps.
James is excited about the opportunities transport operators can gain from going digital with Mandata. He said:
It’s plain to see how Mandata solutions can make a significant difference to hauliers. Reducing manual processes, helping them avoid repetitive tasks and manual work-flow, to become more profitable businesses. said James.
I’m working with a number of transport companies looking to improve their businesses by transforming their manual processes with our technology.
Marie McDermott will be drawing on her experience of working within the road transport industry to build and maintain customer relationships. Providing Mandata customers with on-going support and advice, Marie will ensure they make the most of their investment in Mandata solutions.
An expert in the telematics field, Marie is keen to see how she can add value to Mandata’s existing customers. She said:
Visibility of an operation’s fleet through tracking and driver behaviour presents a massive opportunity, not only to improve driving styles but to reduce costs. Making small improvements even as little as half a percent across a group, can make a big impact to the bottom-line. Money saved on fuel can be reinvested in other areas of the business. I’m looking forward to spending time with our customers to help them get more from their investment in our integrated transport management and telematics systems.
The new employees are welcome additions to the team Steve Spark, CRO said:
Client success is at the heart of everything we do. I’m delighted to have Marie and James on-board. We’re developing our sales and account management team with the very best people, whose skill and experience will support our customer’s plans for growth and expansion in the sector where integrated transport management technology gives customers a strong competitive edge.
