The role will play a key part in delivering Mandata Group’s Go-To-Market strategy and driving new sales growth in our core market.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will play a crucial role in our sales team, focusing on generating new business opportunities through phone-based prospecting, as well as utilising LinkedIn, email and other channels to support in achieving overall company sales targets.


Mandata provides integrated transport management software solutions to road transport businesses operating throughout the UK and Ireland.
Haulage operators use our suite of products to manage their operations from orders to invoice. Our team is not only passionate about our solutions, but they are also incredibly knowledgeable and supportive.

About the role:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will play a crucial role in our sales team, focusing on generating new business opportunities through phone-based prospecting, as well as utilising LinkedIn, email and other channels to support in achieving overall company sales targets.
The responsibilities will be…
- Identify and engage new business opportunities via phone, LinkedIn, and email, that match the business’ ICP (Ideal Client Profile).
- Promoting the company’s products or services to prospective clients through consultative sales techniques.
- Booking qualified sales meetings for the Regional Sales Team.
- Managing and qualifying Marketing generated inbound leads.
- Monitoring and researching industry and market trends.
- Working with Marketing to develop new Marketing campaign ideas.
- Assist with any other ad hoc duties or projects as required to support team objectives and business needs.
Knowledge and expertise that matters most for this role…
• Comfortable working with a consultative sales methodology.
• Ability to balance inbound and outbound lead generation targets.
• A good understanding of the haulage and logistics sectors would be an advantage.
Desired experience:
• 1 year of proven experience in a lead development or internal sales environment.
• Experience in CRM such as Salesforce would be beneficial.
