The world seen a turbulent change when national lockdowns took place as an effect from COVID-19. As we seen businesses across the industries close, agility was key for businesses to survive but alongside the pandemic, the UK has gone through a transition of leaving the European Union. Throughout all of this adversity over the 12 months, as people and businesses we’ve had to adapt to new ways of working.
According to a recent survey conducted by Logistics UK, many transport businesses are failing to keep their workforce at the heart of their digital transformation and in a climate where businesses were forced to work from home or close their doors, colleague buy in has never been more important.
The report shows 29% of transport businesses find their employees are reluctant to embrace new technologies, on the other hand 17% of business leader would like to implement. As business leaders value productivity of their people finding the balance could be hard if the workforce is resistant to change.
If you’re thinking about adopting a transport management solution, including employees across the board is the best way to gain traction in adoption and positivity towards a new way of working.
