Latest Mandata innovations on show

Included this year are further advances in Mandata’s flagship Transport Management System; an integrated system that brings everything together in one place and where hauliers can do everything from processing and managing jobs to invoicing all in one place. The TMS features a drag and drop Traffic Pad launched at last year’s show. Hauliers can take a control tower approach to planning and monitoring jobs and loads, managing large volumes of work with great visibility.

BCA Logistics, one of the UK’s leading providers of vehicle logistics services for the automotive sector has been using the new style traffic pad. Mo Rahman, IT Manager at BCA Logistics explains:

“We needed a dynamic pad that allowed us to manage change more effectively throughout the day.”

“We plan jobs against 1,000+ drivers and that number is growing all of the time. With the new single-view traffic pad we can manipulate drivers and loads more dynamically and fluidly.”

Mo continues:

“From a planning perspective it is so much quicker and smoother. The new traffic pad gives us greater visibility and it makes the performance of the planner more efficient. They can see jobs and available drivers and bring them all together to plan and process multiple jobs in a fraction of the time.”

Mandata is also introducing a range of mobile applications that integrate with its TMS. To complement its Tracking Apps, new driver behaviour Apps Mandata SmartDrive and Mandata DriverInsight are to give drivers and trainers the latest performance scorecards on-the-go, to promote more positive driving styles.

New for the show will be a Manifest App that makes sending information to and from drivers easy. With automatic manifest updates sent straight from the TMS to drivers and signatures and images of POD’s saved in one seamlessly connected process, it offers haulage operators the ultimate in paperless manifest efficiency. This complements the Sub-contractor App Mandata launched last year to make sharing jobs with owner-drivers enables companies using different systems greater opportunities for collaboration. Visitors will not be short of other interesting applications to view including Mandata’s new Transport Analytics Dashboards; live results in easy-to-view and share charts and Web Services Manager a live portal to view tracking and fleet behaviour results.

Demonstrations of the new applications are available on the Mandata stand 4H83.
