Sales growth and subsequent new business wins has made way for several new appointments at Mandata Ltd.
Due to ongoing software innovation and impending new product launches, the North-East based company, which develops transport management systems for the haulage and logistics industry, is experiencing an extended period of growth. As a result of this, the firm is actively recruiting new people to help further progress development during this exciting time for the business.
Mandata has so-far recruited five new members of staff to lend support across a number of expanding departments based at the company’s Cramlington head office.
Craig Green, Teresa Davidson and Andrew Shore have all joined Mandata’s Implementation Services team in the capacity of Implementation Consultants. In this role, they will work predominantly out in the field, as they manage the installation of Mandata systems into new and existing customer sites, based across the UK.
They will liaise closely with customers from a project’s start to finish; gathering business requirements, overseeing the build and setup of the system, and providing user training to customers before handing over to a dedicated Business Account Manager.
With varying degrees of prior experience working within the haulage industry, Craig, Teresa and Andrew will all concentrate initially on implementing complete transport management systems, before moving on to the wider range of modules available to Mandata customers.
Lee Gowland has joined the company’s Cloud and Mobile division in the role of Advanced Services Technical Support. Advanced Services is the online portal used by our customers’ customers to input, manage and track their jobs and corresponding paperwork. With a background in technical support for the motor industry, Lee will work alongside the team to provide first line support for Advanced Services and Warehouse software users should they experience any issues with the system.
Keen to increase the company’s public business profile, Mandata is exploring new promotional strategies through expanding its in-house marketing team.
Leanne Tonks joined the firm in March 2015 in the role of Marketing and Sales Assistant. Leanne’s previous experience within marketing and events management has allowed her to step comfortably into the role to lend support to the team with customer communications, PR activity, exhibitions, and key marketing campaigns; utilising both digital and offline channels.
Mandata is delighted to welcome its new recruits as further resources are being deployed to meet with demands from both new and existing customers. The firm, which received investment in 2013 from private equity company Synova Capital now employs over 70 staff based in three locations across Europe.
Despite a difficult few years for the industry as a whole in the aftermath of the recession, Mandata has continued to grow steadily as a business. The latest appointments signify the beginning of the next chapter as Mandata positions itself for expansion.
Mark Norcliffe Chief Executive Officer at Mandata said:
“As a company, Mandata has taken significant steps towards developing an active recruitment process in the past few months, which has subsequently resulted in us hiring several new members of staff.”
“By actively seeking new talent, we can look to further develop the skill sets within the business, as well as respond to growing demand for our transport management solutions.”
