Latest transport management software showcased at CV Show

The company which produces integrated transport management software for many of the UK’s road transport operators showcased its latest innovations which are helping to improve visibility of the supply chain and provide real-time accurate information to users and their customers.

In the past year, Mandata has made great strides to bring more live and useful data into its systems and introduced new features such as Drivers’ Hours and Driver Calendars to give traffic planners more accurate information with which to plan jobs safely and more profitably and react quickly to changes throughout the day.

Mandata’s Manifest App on show

Proving to be popular amongst Mandata’s install-base, the App enables manifest details to be sent direct to a driver’s mobile device for them to progress and then for images of paperwork, non-conformance and POD’s to be received automatically back into the TMS as each job is complete.

Pionneer award for Nagel Langdons

This year’s CV Show gave Mandata a chance to present one of the first adopters of its software with an award. Nagel Langdons, now part of the Nagel Group signed-up for the early version of the software Manpack3 in 2001 and 16 years later, having quadrupled its workload is still using the system today. Mandata presented Spencer Dixon ICT Director and the Nagel-Langdons team with a Pionneer Award; the first company to break the 10 million job barrier using the Mandata software.

New Mandata TMS Go!

There was also exciting news for new start-ups and small haulage operators. Mandata previewed a new Cloud transport management system due to launch at the end of the year. Mandata TMS Go! is a subscription based product which comes with standard functionality to plan, manage and invoice work all with one on-line system. As integration will be available with Mandata Tracking as well as the Mandata Manifest App it will give operators a simple system to manage work, with the opportunity to grow into the enterprise version of the software the Mandata TMS.

Anyone interested in undertaking a trial of the Mandata TMS Go! software is invited to contact twelford@mandata.co.uk for further details.
