Mandata has reported receiving a record number of enquiries from companies looking to adopt connected transport management solutions. Exhibiting at both The CV Show and Multimodal events, this year Mandata pulled out all of the stops to present an impressive range of new software innovations, as well as a show-stopping new stand design.
This year’s CV Show was undoubtedly Mandata’s busiest exhibition to date.
Our in-house developers worked extremely hard in the run-up to the event to ensure that we had a staggering selection of new products to display to delegates, including a new Driver Manifest App which enables Mandata TMS users to send manifest information direct from their TMS to their drivers’ smartphones, a Vehicle Checks App which allows drivers to carry out circular checks on their vehicles before commencing their shifts, and Web Services Manager; a neat new tool packed with features to allow hauliers to enjoy real-time visibility across certain aspects of their transport operation including Tracking and Driver Behaviour information.
In addition to the new products on display, we also brought along some favourites from last year’s exhibitions and Roadshows like the Drag and Drop Traffic Pad complete with some new functionality, the Sub-contractor App, Transport Analytics Dashboards and our duo of Driver Behaviour monitoring apps.
This year, as well as having an exhibition stand at Multimodal, Mandata were the proud sponsors of the Road Freight Operator of the Year Award at the FTA Multimodal awards.
The ceremony, which takes place annually on the first night of the exhibition was this year held at VOX, the new premier conferencing venue within Birmingham’s Resorts World, and was hosted by former political editor and journalist, John Sergeant. On the night, the lucky winner of the Road Freight Operator of the Year Award were Maritime Transport.
Mandata’s CEO Mark Norcliffe presented the award to Maritime Transport’s Managing Director, John Williams, who was shocked and delighted to receive it. Attended by more than 650 industry experts and decision-makers, the awards were a fantastic platform for Mandata and we are delighted to have been a part of it.
Following the glittering start to the week, the Multimodal exhibition on the whole was a success for Mandata.
Visitors to the stand included a number of blue chip companies who all seemed very impressed with the level of innovation on display.
On the whole, the Driver Manifest App proved itself a popular choice amongst existing customers who dropped by the stand to say hello, whilst the Mandata TMS (Manpack3) and the Drag and Drop Traffic Pad were firm favourites for new enquirers.
