As a valued Mandata business partner, we work closely with Freeway to implement and support the Workshop system. In its most basic form, Freeway Workshops is a maintenance records system designed to ensure your vehicles and trailers are maintained to recommended service schedules.

Full integration with the Mandata TMS and Mandata’s range of Add-ons ensures that a vehicle maintenance system can be operated in harmony with your TMS; optimising planning processes around scheduled vehicle maintenance time, to lower incidents of VOR, and monitoring vehicle performance alongside driver behaviour to maximise profits.

• Improve vehicle utilisation: Integration with the Mandata TMS and Freeway Workshop software enables you to plan repairs and maintenance in line with your transport operations to improve planning, maximise revenue and reduce VOR incidents.
• Reduce vehicle off-road occurrences: Ensure your planners are aware of planned and ad hoc vehicle maintenance; bookings can be logged automatically within the TMS when integrated with the Freeway Workshop module. Any vehicles booked in the workshop for work are highlighted by a colour within the Mandata Traffic Pad to ensure vehicles are not planned in for jobs during that time.
• Manage vehicle maintenance efficiently: With maintenance planned around work schedules, you can minimise the impact on your business by having vehicles off-road.
• Produce detailed reports via your TMS: Export detailed reports on labour costs, defect types, vehicle warranties and much more.
• Log issues identified by drivers: Any issues identified during Vehicle Checks carried out on the driver’s PDA and mobile devices are automatically highlighted in Mandata Web Services Manager allowing for effective maintenance planning.
• Manage expenditure by vehicle: Control the financial aspects of vehicle maintenance with the Freeway Workshop module by highlighting items of high costs such as fuel or tyres, repairs and maintenance.
