Palletline and Mandata Advanced Services

As of July 1st this year, Palletline will be implementing electronic signature capture throughout their network. This is being done to improve overall service to customers and the network by recording actual delivery times as they happen and by making this information freely available to members and customers.

Using our own Advanced Services, which has always had electronic signature capture as one of its prime features, we have modified the hand held software to take care of the extra requirements needed by the network. This mainly involves a further level of conformity taken down to individual pallet level, where necessary.

The service can be used for both Palletline and non Palletline work, with the hand held software differentiating between both types. Advanced Services, on receipt of Palletline data, updates not only the Manpack traffic pad but also sends the information onward to Palletline.

Later this year we expect to be able to interrogate the Palletline network on a regular basis to extract data on deliveries made by other depots on behalf of the Manpack user and update delivery times accordingly.

We are confident that other networks will inevitably follow the Palletline initiative and we look forward to working with them in the future on behalf of our clients.
