Chambers & Cook a family run business based in the West Midlands, has chosen Mandata as their partner to bring them into the forefront of technology.
With over 50 vehicles and over 120 trailers within a wide range of specification, Chambers & Cook can handle anything from rapid local deliveries to logistical solutions for large Europe wide contracts.
Chambers & Cook have invested in serious technology by setting up a web-based GPS and GPRS vehicle tracking system enabling real-time updates of consignment location and expected time of arrival within their Mandata Traffic System, and allowing their customers to access this information.
Using the power of GPS and GPRS technology, Chambers & Cook's, vehicle's progress can be monitored real-time and tracked on a map by the customer using a secure Chambers & Cook provided log-in.
All customers are now able to key jobs directly into the Chambers & Cook's Mandata Traffic System via a screen within the website. Customers can then drill down into the job and view status and conformance details together with the signature of the person who has received the consignment.
